Article - Infusing Technology into the Balanced Literacy Classroom
This article while lengthy provided a great deal of information on how incorporate technology appropriately in the classroom. The 3 levels and how they are related to SAMR and the DOK is great. This can certainly be filed under great practices! I am anxious to use many of the suggestions and ideas noted in this article. Moreover, I am interested to see the difference in my students learning from moving up the level technology mixed with pedagogy and content.
Book Introduction
I enjoyed how the author mentioned how we shouldn’t leave pedagogy to the wind and replace it with technology. The technology is the vehicle to teach and learn. I am looking forward to reading more about how I can best incorporate technology into my ELA block.
